Medal of Honor: Warfigther. Concept Art for EA Team Danger Close

Hello there!

Below are some pieces for the recently released Medal of Honor: Warfighter from Electronic Arts' Team Danger Close. I had a blast knocking out concepts for the amazing folks at EA DCG here in Los Angeles and these are some examples from the game. All art is property of Electronic Arts and was created to illustrate the variety of locations, scenarios, character classes, special effects and marketing initiatives for the team. Also, I have some roughs of the Linkin Park music video for Castle of Glass featuring MoH: Warfighter; I was tasked with creating targets for the CG environments for the band through EA. Thanks a lot for taking a look! I got the chance to work with a lot of talented people and create artwork for their immense vision, I hope you get a kick out of the artwork and hope to see you all online in multiplayer.

Football Heroes is half way there! Please help our project cross the finish line. :)

Hello there folks! This is another piece for Football Heroes, a project my friends Mike and Nathan have on Kickstarter that has reached its halfway point for funding. We are doing a great push to fully fund the game, and with the aid of Kickassist on the Magic Pixel home page and your help we can get the word out that this game is great and worthy to be on your iOS device of choice. Below are links to the Kickstarter and Kickassist pages, also Mike's wife Luci posted on Reddit on behalf of her man and team. Please up-vote the article and help make a dream come true. Thanks for taking a look!

More artwork on the way!

Ras' Pew Pew Pew Pootin

Quick painting of Rasputin summoning the lost princess for one last dance; her folks weren't prepared for such a dastardly display of the dark arts.  :)

Figure drawing session and quick painting from sketches. :)

Went to a great figure drawing session last Friday with my girl, Richard and Neel. Everyone was knocking out great pieces and with the abundance of inspiration I took two sketches and shaped them into a quick color comp. I had fun working out of such a rich tone. More to come. :)

FOOTBALL HEROES: Kickstarter Update!

Hello there! I've been lending a hand at Run Games with my pals Mike and Nate and they've created an amazing game for the IOS. It's a Tecmo Bowl style football game with power ups and stat boosts like an action RPG. The team at Run really know games and they are finishing their latest title strong.

Run Games has just opened up its' Kickstarter page where you can help them to the finish line. These are some of the illustrations that will be used in promotions for Football Heroes, more on the way so stay tuned. I'm enjoying creating artwork for this subject matter and I feel lucky to work with such talented folk. Check out our efforts in the link below. :)

15 mins each-Sketching with Color :)

Just finished Rage on the PS3, can't recommend it enough. Great Art and Design matched with fantastic gunplay and items. These quick sketches were inspired by the game, trying to get faster/more confident with color. :)
Thanks for taking a look.

Some of my Matte work for Twisted Metal.

Over the summer I got the chance to work with the talented folks at Create in Culver, I painted a handful of mattes for the story cinematic sequences for the new Twisted Metal with a great team of artists. I can't show the mattes just yet, but more to come soon. :)

Comic Con panel with the man, David Jaffe. The game looks really fun and I had the chance to work with a great team of artists and supes at Create. Footage has the trailer we made for Comic Con, some of my matte paintings are up in this. :)

It's a Comic Con panel, please excuse the hooting and hollering. :)

Big shout out to the gang at Create, keep up the awesome work and I can't wait to pick this game up day one.

I worked on the Wonder Woman pilot a bit ago, this sketch was just a 30 minute doodle for the team that was putting it all together. I'm getting into this graphic style a bit more, it makes everything look very confident.

Fringe 3.19 LSD Concept and Matte Art

Here is some of the artwork I created for the animated episode of Fringe. A Big shout out to the team at Zoic, this ambitious episode had a great group of illustrators hard at work for the show; Jeremy, Jared, JDL, Alex, Joe,Wayne, Fred and the guys really pushed out some amazing artwork. I took on the character designs, as well as a variety of matte illustrations for the backgrounds. Also, I got a chance to try out hand roto work for this show, a process that requires detail drawings over many of the frames of cg animation to embellish the efforts of our animation and comp team. I learned a lot and worked with some fantastic artists, I can't wait to do it again. :)

Thanks for taking a look.

how'd i get here?
